OL98: Command "New Mail Message Using" Is not Available

SYMPTOMS

When you click Actions, the "New Mail Message Using" command is not available.

CAUSE

The mail message format is not set to HTML (HyperText Markup Language).

RESOLUTION

Set the mail message format to HTML.

MORE INFORMATION

The default mail message format is dependent upon the type of installation you chose. If you installed the Corporate/Workgroup version, the default mail message format is Microsoft Exchange Rich Text. If you installed the Internet Only version, the default message format for outgoing mail messages is Plain Text.

Use the following steps to change the Message format to HTML:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

2. Click the Mail Format tab.

3. Under Message format, click to select HTML.

4. Click Apply, and then click OK.
