In Microsoft Outlook 98 all dates appear in a foreign language although all text appears correctly in English. This behavior affects all views of Outlook.
The Regional settings in Control Panel are not set to "English (United States)."
Change the Regional Settings to "English (United States)."
In Outlook, dates and some menu controls are displayed in the language selected in the Regional Settings control panel.
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Regional Settings in the Control Panel.
3. On the Regional Settings tab, click "English (United States)" in the
list and click OK.
4. Close Control Panel and restart your computer.
