When you browse folders using the Outlook Bar, you may receive the following error message:
Outlook caused an invalid page fault in MSO97.dll
This error message may occur when there are damaged shortcuts in the Outlook Bar.
To rebuild the Outlook Bar, start Outlook with the /resetoutlookbar command-line option. To do this, follow these steps:
NOTE: Rebuilding the Outlook Bar removes any custom shortcuts.
Outlook.exe /resetoutlookbarThere is a space character between Outlook and the forward slash (/).
For more information about command-line switches, click the Office Assistant, type
"control what
happens," click Search, and then click to view "control what happens when you start Outlook."
NOTE: If the Assistant is hidden, click the Office Assistant button
