In Microsoft Outlook 98, you may have a message that has a flag message in the header, "You replied on <date> <time>," although you did not reply to the message.
This condition can arise when you open a reply to a message and then save it without sending the reply. Deleting the unsent reply will not remove the flag from the original message.
