OL98: Large Messages Do Not Show Voting Buttons

SYMPTOMS

If you receive a large message with voting buttons from another Outlook user, the voting buttons may not display when you open the message.


RESOLUTION

Ask the sender to reduce the size of the message by sending in Plain Text or removing any attachments.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.


MORE INFORMATION

You will not see any voting buttons added to a large (60K or more) mail message. This problem does not occur in other versions of Outlook.
