OL98: Outlook Slow to Start and QuitID: Q195646
|
You are using Microsoft Outlook 98 and notice that the program is very slow to start as well as being slow to quit when running under Microsoft Windows 95
This behavior has been noted when incorrect version of the files Msvcrt40.dll and Msvcrt.dll are installed on the computer.
The files, Msvcrt40.dll and Msvcrt.dll, may be the wrong version. Rename
and replace both of these files.
On a Windows 95/98, both files should be in the C:\Windows\System folder.
NOTE: The following steps apply to computers running Windows 95/98 only.
