ID: Q226770

The information in this article applies to:

SUMMARY

You are limited to 10 audience members in an Online Presentation Broadcast from a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation. This is due in part to the restrictions set in the End-User License Agreement (EULA).

MORE INFORMATION

Windows NT 4.0 Workstation licensing agreement restricts the number of computers that can be connected to your workstation at one time. The limit of 10 audience members is only available if you have no other computers connected to yours at the same time.

The following is the section of the EULA that indicates the maximum number of connections:

Systems Software. You may install and use one
copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer.
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be used by more than
two (2) processors at any one time on the single
computer running the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. You may
install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer
("Workstation Computer") for use as interactive
workstation software, but not as server software.
However, you may permit a maximum of ten (10)
computers to connect to the Workstation
Computer to access and use services of the
SOFTWARE PRODUCT, such as file and print services
and peer web services. The ten connection
maximum includes any indirect connections made
through software or hardware which pools or
aggregates connections.
Therefore, each computer connected to your workstation that is not involved in the Presentation Broadcast will reduce the number of audience members that can join.
