PPT2000: Error: "...slides no longer exist" Printing Current Slide

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to print your handout, title, or notes master while in their respective views, you may receive the following error when you select to print Current slide from the PowerPoint Print dialog box:

The slides you have selected to print no longer exist. Please make another selection.


CAUSE

The Current slide option in the Print dialog box does not function as expected when you are vying the Handout, Title, or Notes Masters. This option, even though it can be selected, does not print the selected Master.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, select All in the Print dialog box when you print the selected master.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
