PPT2000: HTML: Sounds Do Not Loop ContinuouslyID: Q226627
|
When slides that contain a sound that is set to loop continuously are viewed as a web page, the sound does not loop continuously.
The sound icon that is created on the slide web page by PowerPoint contains a Java script that will play the sound continuously, when you click the icon. It will continue playing until you either press ESC or proceed to the next slide. Then, the sound will stop.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft PowerPoint 2000.
For more information about troubleshooting web presentations, click Microsoft PowerPoint Help on the
Help menu, type "Troubleshoot Web Page Options" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard,
and then click Search to view the topics returned.
