The information in this article applies to:

Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 does not support the View on Two Screens feature from PowerPoint 97 and PowerPoint 95.

The View on Two Screens functionality in previous versions of PowerPoint has been replaced by Multiple Display Support on Microsoft Windows 98. This allows PowerPoint 2000 to display a slide show on a secondary monitor that is connected to the same computer as the primary monitor.

For more information about using a second monitor, click Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 Help on the Help menu, type "How do I set up a slide show to run on a second monitor?" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topic.

For more information on setting up Multiple Display Support, on the Windows Start menu, click Help. Click the Index tab, and type the following:

Multiple Display Support
Click Display to search that topic.
