When you attempt to animate an ActiveX Control, the Action Settings and Custom Animation commands are unavailable.
NOTE: PowerPoint 98 Macintosh Edition does not support embedding ActiveX Controls.
Microsoft PowerPoint does not support the animation of ActiveX controls.
The controls available in the Control Toolbox are known as ActiveX Controls. An example of an ActiveX Control is a Command Button. You must write macro code to support the functionality of the control.
For more information about ActiveX Controls, click Contents And Index on the Help menu, click the Index tab in PowerPoint Help, type the following text
