The information in this article applies to:
Animated graphs may appear with the wrong floor color when you run a Slide Show. For example, a 3D Column Graph with a gray floor in Slide view may appear with a green floor when run in Slide Show.
You are running Windows with a 256 color Video Display setting. When PowerPoint creates the palette for the slide, it may not add the required color. When the graph appears, the floor appears as the closest color on the palette.
If your video card supports it, change the video color palette to high color.
To change the video settings in Windows 95, follow these steps:
1. Using the right mouse button, click on the Desktop and click
Properties.
2. Click the Settings Tab. Choose the appropriate setting under Color
palette. Click OK.
You may be prompted to restart your computer before the new settings will
take effect.
