When you attempt to print a presentation based on the Fireball template to certain printers, such as the Canon LBP430, you receive one of the following errors:
Page Error: Page 1 - Not enough printer memory; unable to print page.
-or-
There was an error writing to LPT1: for the printer Canon LBP-430:
There was a problem sending your document to the printer. Make sure
the printer cable is connected and that the printer is online. To
continue printing, click retry. Windows will automatically retry after
5 seconds.
The Fireball template contains complex objects which some printers do not have the memory or resources to process.
To print the presentation, click to select the Black and White check box in the Print dialog box (click Print on the File menu). This option optimizes the look of color slides for printing on a black and white printer.
You may also want to consider changing the template to a less complex template.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
For more information about templates, click the Office Assistant, type "apply design," click Search, and then click to view "apply a different design to a presentation."
NOTE: If the Assistant is hidden, click the Office Assistant button on the Standard toolbar. If PowerPoint Help is not installed on your computer, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
