SYMPTOMS

When saving a Microsoft PowerPoint 97 for Windows file to a Banyan Vines server, the save process may take a very long time.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs under the following conditions:

• You are using Microsoft PowerPoint 97 for Windows.

  -and-

• You are using Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0 as the client computer.

  -and-

• You are using Banyan Vines network operating system, versions 7.10 or 7.10.

  -and-

• You are using Banyan Vines 32-bit client, versions 7.26 or 8.06.
