If you minimize a presentation while you have multiple presentations open and the presentations are arranged within the program window, the minimized presentation disappears.
NOTE: To arrange multiple presentations within the program window, click Arrange All on the Window menu.
When you minimize a PowerPoint 97 presentation while in normal slide view, the title bar of the minimized presentation sits on top of the Drawing toolbar. When you have multiple presentations arranged on the screen and minimize one presentation, the minimized presentation is hidden beneath the Drawing toolbar.
The Drawing toolbar is docked on the bottom of the screen by default in Microsoft PowerPoint 97.
NOTE: A similar symptom happens in Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows 95, version 7.0. In PowerPoint 7.0, minimized presentations do not sit on top of toolbars docked at the bottom of the screen. Minimized presentations always sit in the lower left hand corner of the workspace. Therefore, if you minimize the presentation on the right side of the program window, it will be hidden behind the presentation on the left side of the program window.
To restore the hidden presentation, do either of the following:
