The information in this article applies to:
If you record a slide narration for a slide that contains an animated text box and then view the Slide Show, the animated text may not appear synchronized with the recorded narration.
Suppose, for example, you have a slide with two bulleted paragraphs on it. When you record your narration, you click once three seconds into the slide to display the first point, click again thirteen seconds later to display the second bullet, and click yet again four seconds later to advance to the next slide. When you view your slide, the first bullet point appears seven seconds into the slide, the second appears fourteen seconds into the slide, and the slide advances at twenty-one seconds.
When you have a single object that is animated by paragraph, PowerPoint divides the total time for the slide equally and displays the animated paragraphs at equal intervals.
To create a slide where multiple paragraphs appear at irregular intervals, create each paragraph as a separate text object. You can now use the Custom Animation dialog box to determine how long an interval passes between the appearance of each animated paragraph and the one before it.
