PPT97: No Errors, Can't Start Presentation Conference Utilities

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to start a slide show utility, such as Slide Navigator, Meeting Minder, or Slide Meter you receive no error message and the utility does not start.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you are running the utility in another slide show when you attempt to start the utility in the current slide show.

RESOLUTION

Switch to the other slide show and exit the utility before you attempt to start the utility in the second slide show.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
