The information in this article applies to:
If you group a Comment object with one or more objects and then move the grouped objects using a drag and drop operation, the outline of the Comment object is visible. This occurs even if you are hiding comments. (To show or hide comments, click Comments on the View menu.)
When you use the drag and drop operation to move objects, PowerPoint shows the outline for hidden comments if they are part of a group of visible objects.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
In PowerPoint you can add comments--notes to yourself or others--to your presentation. PowerPoint allows you to show or hide comments by clicking the Comments command on the View menu. You should hide comments before you show your presentation so that the audience does not see them.
If comments are hidden, you cannot select a Comment object. However, if the comment is grouped with other objects that are visible, and you move the group of objects, the outline of the comment appears. This behavior does not cause the comment to become visible.
