In Microsoft PowerPoint, if you type the number for a slide that does not exist in the From or To boxes in the Set Up Show dialog box and then click OK, the Set Up Show dialog box will not close. Instead, the invalid slide number will change to a valid number. This occurs even if you click to select the All option before you click OK.
For example, if you have a 20-slide presentation and click Set Up Show on the Slide Show menu, type the number 30 in the To box, click All, and then click OK, the number 30 changes to 20 and the Set Up Show dialog box will not close.
To exit the Set Up Show dialog box, use either of the following methods:
