PPT97: Unable to Loop Through Playlist with PowerPoint Viewer 97

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

If you set up a playlist to loop continuously and it contains more than one presentation, Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 97 will loop through the first presentation until you press ESC at which time it continues with the next presentation.

CAUSE

PowerPoint Viewer is not properly cycling through each presentation in the playlist.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, obtain Microsoft PowerPoint 97 Service Release 2 (SR- 2).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
