WD2000: ApplyListTemplate Method May Cause Invalid Page Fault

SYMPTOMS

When you run a Visual Basic for Applications macro that uses the ApplyListTemplate method, the following error message may appear:

This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
When you click Details, the following message is displayed:
WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in module MSO9.DLL at 015f:308e0522.
NOTE: The actual memory address may vary.


CAUSE

Your macro may contain command lines where the ApplyListTemplate method is encountered after a command line that uses any of the ListLevels properties or methods.

To work around this problem, do not place an ApplyListTemplate method command line after any command line that uses any of the ListLevels properties or methods.
