When you insert an AutoShape into a document and then save or view the document as a Web page, the AutoShape's position on the Web page may not be consistent with its position in the original document.
Because there are no page margins in HTML (Web pages), the margins essentially disappear when a document is saved or viewed as a Web page. Because AutoShapes are "anchored" to page properties, such as margins, the positioning of the AutoShape may change when the document is saved or viewed as a Web page.
When using AutoShapes in a Word document that you intend to save as a Web page, you must take into account page margins when you position AutoShapes.
