WD2000: Change All in Spelling Check May Not Change All Occurrences of Misspelled WordID: Q220343
|
When you check the spelling of a document, using the Change All option to correct all occurrences of a misspelled word, Word may not change all occurrences of the word. Instead, Word may continue to flag the remaining misspelled word(s) for correction.
For example, after you choose to change the first occurrence of a particular word, you click Change All to change the spelling of the second and remaining occurrences of the word to a different spelling than the first occurrence, Word changes only the second occurrence of the word. The remaining occurrences of the misspelled word are individually flagged as misspelled.
To work around this problem, select the correct spelling of each flagged misspelled word and click Change.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
