When you open a Word 2000 document in an earlier version of Word, a blank document containing the following error message may be displayed:
This Page Uses Frames, But Your Browser Doesn't Support Them
The Word document you are trying to open is a frames page that earlier versions of Word do not support.
In Word 2000, a frames page is a container that hosts a group of frames. Frames are usually used in Web sites to make information easier to access or to show the contents of a Web site that has multiple pages.
For more information about frames, click Microsoft Word Help on the
Help menu, type "How do I use frames?" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard,
and then click Search to view the topics returned.
