WD2000: Errors Trying to Fax After Installing Outlook 2000ID: Q198555

When you try to fax after installing Microsoft Outlook 2000, one of the
following may occur:
Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details. Unable to connect to the server. (Account: 'Symantec WinFax Starter Edition', SMTP Server: '127.0.0.1', Error Number: 0x800ccc0e).
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shutdown. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor. WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in module OLEAUT32.dll at 0137:6534b2dl.

The profile you selected does not have fax capabilities. You can either add fax to this profile (through the Control Panel), or restart with a profile that contains fax.
These errors occur if you selected the Internet Mail Only (IMO) option in the Microsoft Outlook 2000 Setup program and you have Microsoft Fax installed.
To correct these problems, you need to remove Microsoft Fax and then
reinstall the Symantec WinFax Starter Edition in Outlook 2000 Setup.
