WD2000: Euro Symbol Not Printing with Hewlett-Packard 5Si PostScript Printer DriverID: Q220500
|
When you print a document that contains the euro (European Union) currency symbol, the currency symbol may fail to print with the Hewlett-Packard 5Si PostScript printer driver.
To work around this problem, use the Hewlett-Packard Printer Control Language (PCL) driver for the LaserJet 5Si or the Hewlett-Packard 5si/5si MX PostScript driver that ships with Windows.
NOTE: You need your Windows 95/98 CD-ROM to complete this procedure.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
