WD2000: Revision Colors May Change UnexpectedlyID: Q211733
|
When a document is edited by several authors, the revision mark colors may change unexpectedly after you open the document on another computer or even after you open the document on the same computer logged on as another user.
This behavior is by design in Microsoft Word. Word does not assign specific colors to specific users. The behavior is intended to make sure that the revisions of several authors are distinguishable. Even though the colors may change, you see a different color for each author who has worked in the document.
