This behavior is by design. When you have Track changes while editing turned on and Highlight changes on screen turned off, Word automatically turns on Highlight changes on screen when sending e-mail to remind you that you are sending a document with revisions you have neither accepted nor rejected.
To send an e-mail message from Word without viewable revisions, use one of the following methods:
