Microsoft Word 97 for Windows

SUMMARY
Included in your SGML Author package are three ready-to-use examples of
documents, templates, and association files (.dta). These files are
included to help you get started using the SGML Author converter.
MORE INFORMATION
Microsoft recommends that you start with the included sample files located in the
Office\Sgmlconv\Sample subfolder.
To verify that SGML Author is performing conversions properly, use the
following steps:
- In Word for Windows, click Open on the File menu, and then select
the Sample.doc document located in the Office\Sgmlconv\Sample
   subfolder.

- Click OK. If you are prompted for an initialization file, select
   Sample.ini and then click OK.

- On the File menu, click Save As SGML. The Save As SGML macro now performs several tasks:
- Asks you whether you want to save the Word document prior to conversion.
If you choose Yes, the macro saves the document.

- Asks you for the association (*.dta) file used during the
conversion. Select Sample.dta and then click OK.

- Converts the document based on the association file.

- Opens and displays the feedback file.

- At completion of this task, the macro displays a dialog box stating
that Your document converted without any modifications. The Sample
feedback file should appear without any annotations, indicating that
there were no problems with the conversion.
