After you close the Visual Basic Editor in Microsoft Excel 98, all the toolbars disappear except for the worksheet menu bar, which is not functional.
This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:

To prevent this problem from occurring, use either of the following methods.
Always close the Visual Basic Editor before running a user form or close the user form before quitting the Visual Basic Editor.
From Microsoft Excel, click Hide Microsoft Excel on the Application menu.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
For more information about toolbars, click Contents And Index on the Help menu (or on the Balloon Help menu if you are using a version of the Macintosh operating system earlier than 8.0), click the Index button in Microsoft Excel Help, type the following text

and then click Show Topics. Select the "About toolbars" topic, and click Go
