The information in this article applies to:
In the Visual Basic Editor for Microsoft Excel 98, named arguments are not copied when you copy a property, method or function in the Object Browser.
When an item in the Object Browser's Member pane is selected, only the name of the item is copied to the clipboard.
A possible workaround for this issue is to copy the named arguments from the Object Browser. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Select the text of the item and its named arguments in the Detail
section, and then click Copy on the Edit menu.
2. Go to the location where you would like to paste the named arguments,
and then click Paste on the Edit menu.
This is by design of the Object Browser included with Microsoft Excel 98.
For more information about using the Object Browser, from the Visual Basic Editor, click Contents And Index on the Help menu (or on the Balloon Help menu if you are using a version of the Macintosh operating system earlier than 8.0), click the Index button in Microsoft Excel Help, type the following text
Object Browser
and then click Show Topics. Select the "Object Browser" topic, and click Go
To. If you are unable to find the information you need, ask the Office
Assistant.
