When you display the Save As dialog box by using the GetSaveAsFilename method, changes that the user makes to the Save As dialog box may not be returned to Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications.
The Save As dialog box displayed from the GetSaveAsFilename method can only return the file name to Visual Basic.
This behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98.
The dialog box displayed by the GetSaveAsFilename method contains a drop- down list that displays various file formats. It also contains an Options button that displays a dialog box containing save options. It is not possible to determine how the user has set these options with the GetSaveAsFilename method.
