FIX: Heap Walker ASCII Display Drops CharactersID: Q180844
|
When using the Memory Dump window in the Heap Walker, the ASCII column may not show a complete line of 16 ASCII symbols.
The program incorrectly determines the number of characters to display.
Each line in the Memory Dump window in the Heap Walker displays 16 hexadecimal values. Although the corresponding ASCII symbols are not all displayed, it is possible to convert the hexadecimal numbers to their ASCII equivalents manually.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article.
This problem was corrected in Windows CE Toolkit for Visual Basic 6.0.
