FIX: Problems with Font Dialog in Win CE CommonDialog Control
ID: Q192936
|
The information in this article applies to:
-
Microsoft Windows CE Toolkit for Visual Basic 5.0, version 1.0
SYMPTOMS
This article summarizes unexpected behavior that occurs when using the Font
Dialog of the CE CommonDialog control distributed with the Windows CE
ActiveX Control Pack.
RESOLUTION
Choosing a Font
Scenario 1
If you select a font in the Font dialog box in the Windows CE Toolkit for Visual Basic 5.0 (VBCE5), the font might not be recognized as selected. To work around this problem, choose the font twice while the font dialog box is open.
Scenario 2
If you choose a font using the arrow keys to scroll through the
list of fonts, the font immediately proceeding the chosen font is
selected instead. This problem was corrected in Windows CE Toolkit for Visual Basic 6.0 (VBCE6).
Setting the Min Property
An error will occur if the Min property is set to a negative value.
The Min property sets the lower limit for fonts sizes that will be
available in the Font dialog.
This behavior is by design.
STATUS
Scenario 2 has been fixed in Visual Basic 6.00.
The behavior in Setting the MinProperty is by design.
