FIX: Problems with Line Continuation CharacterID: Q185784
|
When using the line continuation character ("_") in a Windows CE Toolkit for Visual Basic (VBCE) project, code may get parsed incorrectly causing it to be truncated or deleted. Commented as well as uncommented code can be affected. This could result in a loss of code.
This problem occurs most frequently when large numbers of line continuation characters are used. A workaround is to avoid using line continuation characters or to use them sparingly.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article.
This problem was corrected in Window CE Toolkit for Visual Basic 6.0.
