FIX: FrontPage 98 Has the Same Product ID as Visual InterDev 6.0

SYMPTOMS

The version of FrontPage 98 that ships with Visual InterDev 6.0 has the same Product Identifier as Visual InterDev 6.0 and is incorrect. This will cause support options such as Web Response and self-routing via a touch- tone phone to fail.

RESOLUTION

If you require support for FrontPage 98 you are entitled to two (2) no- charge support incidents for assistance with programmability, external database connectivity, and server extensions.

In order to obtain this support you will need to contact a customer service representative to acquire a new product ID for FrontPage 98.

This bug was corrected in FrontPage 2000.
