After you check out files in Visual InterDev in local mode and log on to Windows as a different user without checking the files back in, the files appear checked out to the new user that is logged on.
Visual InterDev does not track status of a Web project on a per-user basis.
To resolve this, refresh the Web project. To Refresh the web project, do one of the following:
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
1. Open a Web project in local mode that is under source control.
2. Check out a file.
3. Close Visual InterDev, and log on to Windows as a different user.
4. Open the same Web project.
It is possible that after the second user has logged on to check out the same file, make edits, and have the option to overwrite the first user's changes to the local Web.
