PRB: Object Fails to Load when Dragging WFC Control on HTML Page

SYMPTOMS

When dragging a Windows Foundation Class ActiveX control onto a .html page the following error occurs:

Visual Studio HTML Editor:

An object has failed to load. The object will be displayed as text.

RESOLUTION

If you have an older beta version of Visual J++ installed on your computer, install the latest beta version of Visual J++.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
