PRB: Error Launching Backoffice Installation Wizard During Visual Studio Installation

SYMPTOMS

During installation of the Visual Studio 6.0 server components, when selecting Launch Backoffice Installation Wizard, and clicking Install, the following error may occur:

CAUSE

The error is caused because the setup program tries to copy the Launchbo.exe file into your temp directory. It fails because there is already a file by that name.


RESOLUTION

Delete the Launchbo.exe file from the temp directory along with all other temp files.
