"No Domain Controller" Error Msg Using Connection Manager 1.0ID: Q193105

When you use Connection Manager to connect to a Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) server over a Remote Access Services (RAS) connection, you may receive the following error message:
When you use a Dial-Up Networking connection to connect, the error message does not occur.No domain controller was available to validate your password.
You may not be able to gain access to some network resources."
There is a race condition in Windows 95 and Windows 98 that causes a logon to the network prematurely. This causes the logon not to succeed.
