Advanced Configuration and Power Interface Errors on Red ScreenID: Q189432
|
When you try to start your Windows 98-based computer, you may receive an Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) error message on a red screen.
This behavior can occur if your computer has a hardware or Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) problem. ACPI error messages on a red screen are generated by a computer's BIOS.
To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of your computer's BIOS to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.
