Cannot Share Multiple Folders at the Same Time in WindowsID: Q179922
|
When you select multiple folders in Windows Explorer or My Computer and then attempt to share all the folders you selected, you are able to share only one folder.
This behavior occurs because you can share only one folder at a time in Windows.
To work around this behavior, share one folder at a time. For information about how to share a folder in Windows, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type shared, and then double-click the "Shared Folders" topic.
This behavior is by design.
You can select multiple folders in Windows Explorer or My Computer and
perform certain operations (such as open, move, cut, copy, and delete
operations) on all the folders you selected. You can also change the
attributes of multiple folders in one operation.
For information about how to perform operations on folders in Windows
Explorer or My Computer, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab,
type folders, and then double-click the topic
you want.
