Cannot View Some Web Pages After Installing Windows Media PlayerID: Q193712
|
After you install Microsoft Windows Media Player 5.2, some Web pages may only partially load even though the Microsoft Internet Explorer logo located in the upper-right corner of the browser window continues to spin.
This behavior can occur if a Web page uses the <Hidden=true> Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) tag with embedded media files.
To resolve this behavior, obtain Windows Media Player 6.0 or later from
the following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer
To work around this behavior, contact the Web page author (or the Web
server administrator) and request that the <Hidden=true> HTML tag be
removed.
