Clicking Cancel on IP Address Tab Does Not Reset ChangesID: Q199527

When you specify an invalid Internet Protocol (IP) address on the IP Address tab in the TCP/IP Properties dialog box, you receive the following error message:
If you click OK and then click Cancel, the invalid IP address may not be reset.The specified IP address is not valid. Please check that the value you typed is correct. If you believe the value is correct but you still receive this message, check with your network administrator.
This problem can occur if you click Cancel on the IP Address tab and click OK in the Network dialog box.
To prevent this problem from occurring, use either of the following methods:
