When you try to use data stored on flash media, Windows may not be able to read or write to the media properly, and you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
This issue can occur if your flash storage media uses a non-standard type of File Allocation Table (FAT), or if your flash storage media has been formatted to use a proprietary file type. Because of this, Windows may not be able to correctly interpret the FAT type, possibly generating the symptoms listed earlier in this article.
