When you quit a Telnet session, you may receive the following error message:
TELNET caused an invalid page fault in module TELNET.EXE at 0xxx:0100bddc.
This problem can occur after you visit a site that has an address (also known as a Uniform Resource Locator, or URL) longer than 265 characters.
This error message does not adversely affect Windows. Click Close to acknowledge the error message and continue.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
