When you attempt to convert a drive to the FAT32 file system, the drive
may be unavailable in the list of drives to convert or you may receive the
following error message:
No drive can be converted to FAT32
This behavior can occur if the drive that you are attempting to convert to the FAT32 file system is less than 512 megabytes (MB) in size. The FAT32 file system is designed for drives that are 512 MB and larger in size.
To resolve this issue, choose a drive that is 512 MB or larger in size to convert to the FAT32 file system.
The following table lists the cluster sizes of drives that are using the
FAT32 file system:
