SUMMARY
Microsoft Plus! includes a feature called font smoothing that fills in the
jagged edges of fonts with gray pixels to make them appear smoother. To
take advantage of this feature, you must have Microsoft Plus! installed
and use a video driver designed for Windows 95.
Note that this feature is included in Windows 98 also.

To enable font smoothing, use the following steps:
Windows 95/Microsoft Plus!
- In Control Panel, double-click Display.
- Click the Plus! tab.
- Click the Smooth Edges Of Screen Fonts check box to select it.
- Click OK.
Note that in order to use font smoothing, you must also be using the True
Color or High Color option in Display properties.
Windows 98
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Display.
- On the Effects tab, click the Smooth Edges Of Screen Fonts check
box to select it.
- Click OK.
