Fonts and Text Appear Blurry or Blocky in Windows ExplorerID: Q224507

When you use Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer, fonts and text
may appear blurred or "blocky", and this issue may be more noticeable with larger fonts.
NOTE: You may notice this issue in other Windows-based programs.
This issue can occur if you are using an ATI Rage Pro, RageII, RageII+, or All In Wonder video adapter with the ATI driver version 5.21 or 5.24.
To resolve this issue, contact ATI to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.
To work around this issue, disable the font smoothing feature:
