Microsoft Technical Support Desktop Systems (DTS) does not support the
installation or usage of the TweakUI program.
Installing TweakUI
To install the TweakUI tool on your Windows 98-based computer, follow
these steps:
- Insert your Windows 98 CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, and close the
Welcome screen if it appears.
- Right-click the Tweakui.inf file in the Tools\Reskit\Powertoy folder,
and then click Install.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to install the TweakUI tool.
NOTE: To use the TweakUI tool, click Start, point to Settings, click
Control Panel, and then double-click TweakUI.
Uninstalling TweakUI
To uninstall the TweakUI tool, use the following steps:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click Add/Remove Programs
- On the Install/Uninstall tab, click TweakUI, and then click Add/Remove.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to uninstall the TweakUI tool.
NOTE: Uninstalling TweakUI does not reverse any changes made by TweakUI.
